Isla Vista Worship is a family and collective of musicians, artists, and worshippers whose passion is to express their love and worship to King Jesus with a simple child-like faith and desire to see Heaven come to earth through creative expression. We live in Isla Vista, CA, a crazy college town right on the beach. Roughly 30,000 students, families and everyone in-between, live within one square mile. Isla Vista has always had a wild streak, and that culture has influenced the way we worship Jesus. We exist in this city to declare the goodness of God & the love he has for all of His kids through every tragedy and triumph. We’ve been writing songs, growing alongside our local church community and running after the heart of the Father for this city. Through the years, the songs that we've written as a community, and the ones that spontaneously erupt from our worship nights in our living rooms & garages, have spread like wildfire throughout the world. What?! CRAY. We believe that God has placed a very specific culture of worship here, and that culture has, by the grace of God, impacted the nations. We've heard from all over the world, people are being blessed by the songs that come out of our tiny little town. Isaiah 61:11 For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign LORD will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations.
