Jesse Florea has worked at Focus on the Family for more than 24 years. For the past 20, he’s been the editor of Focus on the Family Clubhouse magazine (for boys and girls ages 8 to 12) and is currently the editorial director for youth publications where he oversees Clubhouse and Clubhouse Jr. (for 3- to 7-year-olds) magazines. He co-hosts the biweekly "Official Adventures in Odyssey" podcast that often exceeds 1 million listeners. He has written or co-written more than 30 books (including The Case for Grace for Kids, The One Year Father-Daughter Devotions, Devotions for Super Average Kids, and Guy Talk/Girl Talk: Devotions for Teens). Jesse speaks at Christian conferences around the country, teaching up-and-coming writers how to write for children. Jesse earned Bachelor and Master degrees in Communications from Wheaton College. He covered high school sports for nearly 30 years for weekly or daily newspapers, ultimately being inducted into the Colorado High School Coaches Hall of Fame. He lives with his wife, Stephanie, in Colorado Springs and enjoys hanging out with his two grown children, their spouses, and his granddaughter.
