Sean Gaffney has authored 30 produced plays, 4 commissioned TV pilots, 2 published chapter books, as well as, 70 plus produced videos, animation projects, and short films (including for Big Idea, Superbook, Yake Films, the Christian Broadcasting Network, and Globalstage). He is a playwright, screenwriter, director, teacher, and producer. He served for more than a decade as writer, actor, and director for his church’s drama ministry, the Bel Air Drama Department. He was the Story Administrator for Warner Bros. Features, editor of Drama Ministry Magazine, the Managing Director of Taproot Theatre (Seattle), General Manager of Lamb's Theatre Company (New York City), and a screenwriter for CBN. Sean also has been the Master Teacher for Act One: Writing for Hollywood, adjunct faculty at Biola University, and director of the Regent University Script and Screenwriting MFA and Scriptwriting MA programs. He received his BFA from Drake University, his MFA from Columbia University, and studied with Act One: Writing for Hollywood. His feature film, In-Lawfully Yours, with Corbin Bernsen’s Home Theater Films, is now available on Netflix. A second feature with Bernsen is in post-production. Sean is now an Associate Professor in Media at Asbury University.
