Some days are the worst.
I spend much of my time trying to make sure that the lens I look at life through is one of grace and love. Grace and love towards others and towards myself.
Another day, another mask. That’s how many of us live. They feel the worst inside yet act like their lives are all great. They are struggling to make it, but that mask says something different.
The craziest thing of all is that we actually have the freedom to run anxiety-free, yet we walk around dragging our bags of worry and shame and fear. The Cross was (and is) sufficient. Jesus paid the price and said, “You’re worth it,” all the while knowing all of your baggage. He knows all of your inner thoughts and fears and issues, all of the dirty and messed up
“Cast your burden on the Lord, and He will sustain you; He will never permit the righteous to be moved.” Psalms 55:22
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
